Spring is in full swing at Bethany Homes’ with our Horses of Hope program!
Each week, kids like Jack are given the chance to step outside, try something new, and build confidence in a really unique way through horseback riding. For many, it’s their very first time being around horses, and getting to experience it in a safe, encouraging environment..
Programs like this are a reminder that prevention matters. By creating spaces where kids can grow, feel confident, and simply enjoy being kids, we’re investing in stronger futures long before crisis ever begins.
We’re so grateful for the generosity of our community that makes programs like this completely free for kids and youth.

“Two years ago, this is the last place I would have expected to be.”
Ethan Quon never thought he’d work at a homeless shelter. Today, he helps respond to medical emergencies as part of Hope Mission’s 24/7 rapid response team after graduating from the Christian Training Institute (CTI).
“What I love about this job is being able to care for people on both a physical and spiritual level, especially in critical situations, when someone needs it most.”
