On June 21, 2023, Bill C-53 was introduced by the Government of Canada in the House of Commons. This important piece of legislation implements the self-government agreements that the Métis Nation of Alberta, the Métis Nation – Saskatchewan, and the Métis Nation of Ontario each signed with Canada.

Truth and Reconciliation Week September 25 – 30, 2023 Learning and commemorating the truth of our history from First Nations, Métis, and Inuit knowledge keepers is an important part on the path of reconciliation.
