📌 Did you know…

- 10% of youth 15-24 are diagnosed with depression - but only half of those access treatment (Lifeteams, 2024).
- Rates of depression are more than two times higher for females than males in this age group.
- Depression isn’t about the level of happiness - it’s about the loss of hope.
- Symptoms of depression will likely not disappear on their own and may put the teen at risk of alcohol/drug abuse, self-harm or su***de if left unacknowledged.

"My journey into Youth Unlimited started unexpectedly. After a young adult retreat, I stepped into volunteering without a clear plan, simply trusting that God would guide my path. What began as a simple “yes” quickly turned into an opportunity to serve with Youth Unlimited.

What I love about Youth Unlimited is its heart for young people. It’s a place where relationships come first, and where youth are given a safe environment to be themselves. Working at The Core centre, I get to be part of that mission by building connections, listening to their stories, and supporting them as they navigate life."
