WE Seniors is hosting the 29th Annual Older, Bolder, Better!™ Seniors Exhibition & Symposium (OBB) on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the River Cree Resort & Casino. There have been a couple of cancellations so we have a few pickleball times available May 25th and June 1 at Centennial School. Free for Lessard Community League Members.

Programming Update: Please note that our Kids Market (originally scheduled for June 18) at the community league has been cancelled. We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we consider rescheduling the event for a future time. We will share updates as soon as we have more information to share.

In the meantime, be sure to check out the S.Bruce Smith Student Market Place happening this Thursday May 21 from 4-8pm- they are still accepting sign ups!

We are very excited about our upcoming "Plant Swap & Seed Exchange" May 24th 2026 from 12-2. Please see below for how to prepare for the event if you are bringing seeds or plants to swap! Our guest speaker Suzanne Cook will be presenting at 1pm on essential gardening principles- see you there!

Community Events Coming Up!

Two of our community schools have some exciting events happening soon that community members won’t want to miss!

SBS junior high school is hosting a student market place Thursday May 21 4-8pm featuring student vendors. It’s a great opportunity to support local youth and check out all the amazing things students have been working on!

Both Centennial elementary school and S. Bruce Smith junior high are running 50/50 Raffle Fundraisers. These raffles are a great way to support the schools while having a chance to win big!
