It takes just six minutes of reading to relax your body and your mind. This relaxation calms your brain and signals your body to sleep. Try using a book glider to keep your book open as you read in bed tonight!

Our experience at the Alberta Business Hall of Fame was exceptional! Not only did we learn about the beginnings of the true change-makers in Edmonton, but we also gained knowledge about what social entrepreneurship sincerely means. We are honoured to have received support from Mr. Jason Kenney during our attendance. Lastly, our congratulations goes out to all of the laureates: Ashif Mawji, Paul Collins, and Kurt Feigel Sr., as well as the innovation award recipient: Cory Janssen!

In addition to improving writing skills, reading daily also helps improve conversation skills. People who read more often are better accustomed to speaking accurately and fluently. When reading, you are exposed to different styles of effective communication which ultimately help shape your own.

Reading fosters us to more words within a context that provides proper usage. These words help us understand the root of similar words and therefore further expand our vocabulary. People who read more generally have a better vocabulary with a more comprehensive understanding of the usage of newly discovered words.

We are tremendously grateful to the Alberta Emerald Foundation for supporting us in our endeavours to be an environmentally-aware business. We have learned that big changes can come from small groups. Our company members of 13 students will continue to work hard to not only protect our environment for our present but the future of children and their children.
