The Board is currently seeking up to THREE (3) volunteer board members representing the community!

This event will be part of the Learning Centre's Major Fundraising drive in 2026 with all of the community groups that use the Centre's classroom spaces for their programs. If you get a chance, come out and support Kayanou and the Yoruba Cultural Association of Edmonton at this wonderful event this Saturday.

On February 5, The Learning Centre Literacy Association launched the “Raise the Roof on Literacy” funding drive to raise $70,000 in 2026 to cover rent in 2027.
Donations to the campaign will go directly towards keeping the Centre open, making classrooms available and ensuring a warm, welcoming space in the neighborhood for adults to learn as well as provide free access for programming from community organizations who utilize the Centre.
