1CER's Regimental Christmas Dinner And Dance will be on December 6th at Century Casino Fort Road, we have some tickets left over. ticket sales will close on the 29th of December for current unit members. If former unit members would like to attend tickets will be on sale from today until the 01 December at the unit kit shop.

Tickets will be first come first served, each member is eligible to buy two tickets, one for themselves and one for a plus one.

On this mornings parade we had one promotion to the rank of Master Corporal, as well as two coins were handed out by the command team.

Promoted to the rank of Master Corporal: Cpl Botterill
Receiving coins: Cpl Milne, For completing the Jump Master course and bringing this important capability back to the unit. Spr Schafsma, for outstanding performance on the combat dive prelim, and combat dive course. (not shown)

Réception de pièces : Cpl Milne, Pour avoir terminé le cours Jump Master et ramené cette capacité importante à l'unité. Spr Schafsma, pour un spectacle exceptionnel sur le cours préliminaire de plongée de combat et le cours de plongée de combat. (non illustré)

As part of the EFP Battlegroup in Latvia our Armoured engineers had the opportunity to work with engineers from the multinational battlegroup, and show off our own capabilities and see some of our allies capabilities.

Honours And Awards 2024-09-12

Receiving the Command Team Coin: Cpl. Comin. Cpl Comin completed the leopard 2 Vehicle Technician Maintenance course at the RCEME school, in which they achieved the Top Candidate position. for this accomplishment, Cpl Comin has been awarded the 1CER Command Team Coin.

Receiving the Command Team Coin, and Regimental Departure Gift: Cpl. Cowie. Cpl Cowie volunteered to diagnose a fallen members vehicle after it was determined to have a mechanical fault. working after hours to diagnose and subsequently fix the vehicle, aiding the members family during a difficult period. For this Cpl Cowie is awarded the Command Team Coin.

Réception de la pièce de l'équipe de commandement : Cpl. J'arrive. Le Cpl Comin a suivi le cours de technicien d'entretien des véhicules Leopard 2 à l'école du GEMRC, dans lequel il a obtenu le poste de meilleur candidat. pour cet accomplissement, le Cpl Comin a reçu la pièce de l'équipe de commandement du 1CER.

Réception de la pièce de l'équipe de commandement et du cadeau de départ du régiment : Cpl. Cowie. Le Cpl Cowie s'est porté volontaire pour diagnostiquer la chute d'un véhicule d'un membre après qu'il ait été déterminé qu'il présentait un problème mécanique. travailler après les heures d'ouverture pour diagnostiquer puis réparer le véhicule, aidant ainsi la famille du membre pendant une période difficile. Pour cela, le Cpl Cowie reçoit la médaille de l'équipe de commandement.
