We’re proud to be involved in the 2026 Prairie Child Welfare Consortium Symposium, May 19–21 in Edmonton.
This year’s theme, Opportunities within Shifting and Caring Landscapes, brings together leaders, practitioners, and community partners to explore meaningful conversations in child welfare.
Our team will be participating throughout the event, including facilitating breakout sessions and supporting youth-centred discussions.

Today some of our staff participated in events in Edmonton and Calgary as we marked Red Dress Day, honouring and bringing awareness to the Indigenous women, girls, Two-Spirit, transgender, and gender-diverse people who have gone missing or who have been murdered.

In April, staff hosted a booth at ZINE FEST, a collaboration between All Starz Zine Project and Creating Hope Society that celebrates young writers and artists from across the Edmonton area. The All Starz Zine Project mentors young people involved in the justice system to develop their writing and storytelling skills, guided by an experienced editor, and supports some participants to move into mentorship roles themselves.
