After unionizing with ATU 569 over 18 months ago, transit workers in Strathcona County are still without a contract.

The County claims to be a top employer with an equitable, respectful workplace, but their divisive bully tactics and denial of a fair contract tell a different story.

Strathcona County is keeping workers in precarious positions without basic collective agreement language.

The City of Edmonton is now accepting applications for retroactive pay from TERMINATED OR RESIGNED ex-ATU members - Deadline of September 19th, 2025

If you know of anyone that RESIGNED or was TERMINATED from December 2023 to present, please direct them to contact the Union or go to the Union website: atu569.ca to fill out the Retro Pay application form.

Note: This is ONLY for RESIGNED or TERMINATED members who left after the last CBA expired and before the new contract was ratified. Active members are already scheduled for this repayment (retired members in good standing included).
