Since launching our $3.4 billion Primary Care Action Plan, we've connected more than 500,000 additional people to primary care.

In Kitchener- Conestoga, Woolwich Community Health Centre has already connected 2,978 people to care, helping ensure more residents can access the care they need, closer to home.

It was a pleasure to lead today's discussion and learn how practical solutions on conservation, wildlife protection, and biodiversity could be shared between jurisdictions, as we wrapped up the federal, provincial and territorial ministers' meeting.

Thank you to all participating ministers and Indigenous leaders for two days of meaningful discussions and a shared commitment to protecting our natural resources for future generations while supporting jobs and economic growth.

From discussions on nature investments to a visit to Outer Harbour Marina for a fishing excursion along Lake Ontario, today was a reminder of what we’re working to protect.

Today, I joined Minister Sam Oosterhoff and PA Paul Vickers, MPP at Martin’s Apples to announce a $22.5 million investment to help Ontario’s agri-food businesses grow, develop new products and reach new markets.

Kitchener–Conestoga is home to many hardworking farmers and food producers, and this investment will support the growth of Nith River Milling Inc, Heidelburg Foods, Martins Family Fruit Farm, and Beck's Broth.
