UPDATE ON THE ANKASA FOREST HUNTER

A cross section of the public have called for the release of 48-year-old rubber tapper, Annor Ofori who went into the Ankasa Conservation area to kill protected animals.

A release from the Forestry Commission says Ofori was handed the sentence because he had committed the same offence in February 2024 where he was fined GH¢1,200. So this time the court rejected his plea.
