The Meridian Community Centre will be preparing for winter-themed camps filled with holiday crafts and activities! Groups in the camp will have ice and gym time & campers will be joined by some special guests! 🎄

🎨 Calling all Pelham youth! ❄️

The Town of Pelham is inviting local youth artists to participate in the 2026 Holiday Card Competition!

This year’s theme is “Winter Wonderland.” Whether it’s snowy landscapes, favourite winter activities, festive scenes or an imaginative take on winter, we want to see what a winter wonderland looks like through the eyes of Pelham’s young artists!

🎨 Artwork Guidelines: Submissions must be on white 8.5” x 11” paper (portrait or landscape) using colourful paints, pastels, markers or coloured pencils. Please avoid lead pencils, sparkles, glitter and completely black or dark backgrounds.

📝 The back of each submission must include the artist’s first and last name, age, school and phone number.

We ask that artists submit their original artwork to Pelham Town Hall or the front desk of the Meridian Community Centre by Friday, November 6, 2026. Selected illustrations will be featured on the Town’s 2026 Holiday Card, and all artwork received will be displayed at the Meridian Community Centre throughout the holiday season.

What: Foss Road will be closed for trenchless installation and tunnelling activities will be taking place beneath the CPKC Railway. These operations require a full closure at the railway tracks during the work period to ensure the safety of residents and work crews. Please use an alternate route during this time.

Where: Foss Road between Balfour Street and Church Street, for work taking place at the CPKC Railway crossing

When: Began on October 19 and has been extended until November 6, 2026

Resident Access: Although Foss Road will be closed between Balfour Street and Church Street, residents within the closure limits will continue to have access to their properties throughout the construction period.
