TWO LOCATIONS. ONE COMMUNITY CONVERSATION. EVERY VOICE MATTERS.
The Town of Fort Frances is pleased to support the upcoming Rainy River District Ontario Health Team’s Health Care Matters Community Town Hall on Wednesday, October 21, helping to ensure an accessible, welcoming and successful event for residents.
This Town Hall is an opportunity for community members to share their experiences, perspectives and ideas about local health care through small-group conversations and activities that will help inform future health-care planning and advocacy.
The event will take place simultaneously at two Fort Frances locations, with the same opportunities to participate, share experiences and be heard at each.
📅 Wednesday, October 21 | 6–8 p.m.
📍 Memorial Sports Centre Auditorium
740 Scott Street
📍 Fort Frances Public Library — Shaw Room
601 Reid Avenue
With the elevator at the Memorial Sports Centre currently unavailable, the Town has worked with campaign organizers to coordinate an accessible participation location at the Fort Frances Public Library.
Both locations will offer the same Town Hall activities, in-person facilitators, small-group conversations and complimentary refreshments. Each location will have its own host and hear from the same speakers in-person, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate fully.
Residents are welcome to attend whichever location works best for them, including attending together with friends, family members or caregivers. Please note that seating at the Shaw Room is more limited.
Every experience shared matters, and every voice will contribute equally to the district-wide public-input campaign.
The Town encourages all Fort Frances residents to take part in this important community conversation and help shape a better understanding of local health-care needs.
