Kimochis® are innovative communication and feelings tools that teach children to manage emotions that can lead to unkind behavior and/or bullying. Children learn how they can communicate in ways that build confidence, self-esteem and strong relationships while reducing hurtful interactions and bullying.

We have recently been made aware of a case of Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease within our community. While we do not believe there was any direct exposure to our playroom, as this illness is contagious, we are choosing to take some extra precautions to help keep children, families, and staff healthy.

We’ve decided to take today to thoroughly clean and sanitize the Stay & Play space before welcoming families back for tomorrow's Stay & Play.

We encourage families to continue monitoring their children for any signs of illness and to keep children home when they are unwell.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep our community healthy 💚

Today, September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. This day serves as a powerful reminder of the lasting impacts of the Residential School system. We encourage everyone to use today to take some time to research and deepen their understanding of the history of Residential Schools, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action, and to remember that this day is about honouring survivors and fostering healing.
