Big improvement. The pattern goes from flat and dusty-looking to crisp and high-contrast.
What changed most:
• Light beige / cream blocks: In the before, those areas look dingy and grey-brown, especially the large block on the left-middle and the center rectangle. After, they're a clean, bright beige with the pile texture visible again. • Black blocks: In the before they're faded to a charcoal grey from dust and soil buildup. After, they're a deep, true black again — that contrast is what makes the geometric design pop. • Grey blocks: The grey squares on the edges (top left, bottom left) were muddy and blended together before. After, the light grey vs dark grey separation is clear. • Border / edges: The outer black border looks lifted and even in the after shot, vs. dull and patchy in the before. • Pile / texture: Before, the fibers look matted and flat. After, the pile looks fluffed and more uniform — you can see the loop texture in the close-up.
What still shows: A little shadow variation in the close-up is just from the angle/light, not dirt. The rug still has a few slight creases on the left edge from being laid out, but color-wise it's a night-and-day difference.
