The Gimli Icelandic Canadian Society is hosting the annual ‘Walk to the Rock’ on Wednesday at noon.
Walkers gather at the New Iceland Heritage Museum at Waterfront Centre to begin the commemorative walk along the shores of Lake Winnipeg to the rock on Willow Island.
Coffee and goodies will be served at the Lady of the Lake Theatre from 2-3:30pm.
