This week Golden hosted the U18 Provincial's for Hockey! We hosted 5 teams from all over the Province - with great success! And the Town showed up with amazing enthusiasm to show their pride in Golden! Golden Rockets bringing home the Bronze, Kitimat took home the Silver and Creston brought it for the Gold! Golden RCMP was also there, and held a recruiting event with Police Dog Services and a couple of the local members showing off their gear.

Before you hit the highways this season, take a quick moment to check the essentials:
• Windshield Wipers: Make sure they’re clearing your view cleanly. If they streak, skip, or squeak — it’s time to replace them.
• Washer Fluid: Top it up so you’re ready for winter grime, salt, and slush.
• Tires: Check tread depth, air pressure, and overall condition. Cold weather can drop tire pressure fast!

A few minutes of prep can make your holiday travels smoother and a lot safer. Stay alert, stay warm, and have a wonderful journey! 🎄🛣️
