Celebrating Nearly 20 Years of Supporting Lifesaving Care! 🚁

Greenview Council recently received a special token of appreciation from STARS in recognition of its longstanding support for lifesaving emergency medical services.

STARS presented Reeve Ryan Ratzlaff, on behalf of Greenview Council, with a commemorative book recognizing Greenview as one of its valued regional funding partners.

Greenview has proudly supported STARS since 2007, helping ensure residents and visitors in rural and remote communities have access to critical emergency medical care when they need it most.

In 2021, Greenview committed $100,000 annually over five years to the STARS Fleet Renewal Campaign, supporting the purchase of a new H145 helicopter.

Continuing this partnership, Greenview has committed an additional $250,000 annually for four years (2026–2029) as a Provincial Leader supporter, helping STARS continue delivering lifesaving care across Western Canada.

For those living, working and travelling in rural and remote communities, timely access to emergency medical services can make all the difference.

Thank you to STARS for this thoughtful recognition and for the incredible work your crews do every day!
