We can't wait to welcome this incredible group of women to the library on Thursday, November 5 from 7-8PM 🌊

In June 2025, a team of women became the first all female crew to cross Lake Ontario in a dragonboat. Join co-authors of "CLOsure2025: Making Herstory" as they describe their adventure, and subsequent mission to inspire and empower other women to follow their dreams and overcome their fears.

Back by popular demand! The Grimsby Repair Cafe is an amazing way to meet community members while also having household items fixed! We've seen lamp repairs, knife sharpening, watch fixes and more!

Got something that needs fixing? Don't toss it, just bring it to the Grimsby Repair Café on November 7 🔨! This free, drop-in event connects community members with skilled local volunteers who can help repair items or teach you how to fix them yourself. Our menders and fixers will also let you know if an item cannot be repaired.

Volunteers can assist with:

Small home appliance repair
Minor electrical repair (e.g., lamps)
General household repairs
Small wooden furniture repair
Simple jewelry repair
Tool sharpening
Knife sharpening

Presented in partnership with the Rotary Club of Grimsby.
