Growth Pod Mentor Spotlight: Irene Saliendra

Irene Saliendra is a revenue operations consultant, fractional CRO, speaker and mentor with a career focused on helping B2B companies across Canada build predictable, scalable sales systems. Founder of DigitalFlow Consulting, she has been recognized as one of Atlantic Business Magazine’s 30 Under 30 and a Digital Nova Scotia One to Watch.

From Pitch to Impact: Students Tackle Real-World Business Challenges at the Provincial Innovation Sprint!

This past September, 20 students from Saint Mary’s University, Dalhousie University, Acadia University and NSCC gathered at Acadia’s Launchbox space for an intense 4-hour Provincial Innovation Sprint. Partnering with Purposeful Group—a social enterprise helping organizations measure and communicate their community impact—teams raced against the clock to identify potential partners, build outreach strategies and pitch their solutions to industry experts.

We bring you another Provincial Innovation Sprint! For our upcoming session, we are welcoming the Candid Brewery as our spotlight business: a family-owned local Antigonish Brewery Company.

At the end of the Sprint, businesses choose winning teams: first-place winners are awarded $1,000, second place receives $700 and third place receives $300 cash.
