We voted - have you? Today, our Grade 4, 5, and 6 students participated in the CIVIX Canada Student Vote for the upcoming municipal election!

Students had a great time learning about the candidates, exploring the importance of voting, and making their own informed decisions at the ballot box!

They also got a behind-the-scenes look at how elections work by taking on roles such as poll clerks, deputy returning officers, and scrutineers!

It was a fun, hands-on way to learn about democracy, civic responsibility, and the power of having a voice!

What an incredible day! Our Dawnview team made it all the way to the Championship A final, where the game came down to a sudden-death shootout! We may not have come away with the win, but we could not be more proud of ALL of our players!
You played hard, supported one another, and represented Dawnview with pride. Way to go, team!

Our Cross Country team did us proud! They ran like the wind and represented Dawnview with determination, enthusiasm, and outstanding sportsmanship. We couldn’t be prouder of each of you!

Today, Mme Anderson officially paid the price for the incredible generosity of our DNV students and families!

After raising an amazing amount of money in support of the Terry Fox Foundation, students gathered to watch Mme Anderson get completely SLIMED!

The smiles, cheers, and laughter said it all. It was definitely messy, a little gooey, and a whole lot of fun, but most importantly, it was all for a great cause. Every donation helps continue Terry's dream of a world without cancer.

Thank you to our students, families, and staff for your generosity, enthusiasm, and commitment to making a difference. Together, DNV showed that big hearts can have a big impact!

The generosity of our Dawnview community continues to amaze us. Thanks to the kindness of our students, families, and staff, we were able to fill an entire cart with donations for our local food drive! 🛒❤️

Your contributions will make a meaningful difference for individuals and families in our community who are facing food insecurity. Every item donated is a reminder of the caring and compassionate spirit that makes DNV such a special place.

While we celebrate this incredible achievement, the need in our community remains great. If you are able, please consider making a direct donation to our local food bank. Financial donations help food banks purchase needed items and support those who rely on their services throughout the year.

Thank you, DNV, for showing that when we come together, we can make a real difference.

The votes are in, the donations have been counted, and our Dawnview students have once again shown what it means to make a difference!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our students, families, and staff, we raised an amazing amount of money in support of the Terry Fox Foundation and cancer research. Every donation helps carry forward Terry's legacy of courage, determination, and hope.

Now it's time for Mme Anderson to keep her promise and step up to the challenge! 😄
