I'm running to be your Councillor for the Town of Minto.
For those who don't know me — I'm Mike Roesch. My wife and I live in Clifford where we're raising our two boys.
I'm not a career politician. By trade, I work in a local welding shop in the paint department. I'm a tradesman, a dad, and a taxpayer just like you.
I got to meet many of you last Thursday at the All Candidates Meet & Greet in Palmerston, thank you to the Carry-On Women's Institute for hosting, and to everyone who came out and asked tough questions.
I'm running on one simple idea: Connecting Minto.
Connecting Clifford, Harriston, Palmerston and our rural areas so every voice is heard fairly.
Connecting Town Hall to taxpayers — with clearer communication, respect for your dollar, and decisions explained in plain language.
And connecting our future to good jobs, attainable homes, and the core services that work for you; roads, water and infrastructure.
I know I got a little nervous last thursday and had to read my notes, but what you saw is what you get. A regular guy who cares about this Town and wants to work hard for it.
I'm not here to make grand promises. I'm here to listen, ask tough questions about value for money, and be present across Minto all year round.
If you live in Minto, I'd be honoured to earn your support on October 26th.
Please share, and don't hesitate to reach out if you want to chat.
