We would also like to recognize the high school students who volunteered their time to earn community involvement hours. Your enthusiasm and willingness to help contributed greatly to the event's success.
In total, more than 40 volunteers from participating businesses, organizations, and departments came together to create a fun and safe Halloween experience for local families. We prepared enough candy for approximately 150 trick-or-treaters, but the turnout far exceeded our expectations. After running out, we happily scrambled to get more! We estimate that nearly 250 trick-or-treaters, along with their families, attended, bringing the total number of people who gathered together to approximately 300 community members over the course of just an hour and a half.
The weather was beautiful, the costumes were amazing, and the smiles were endless. Events like this remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such a generous, welcoming, and community-minded town.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, participated, attended, donated, and helped spread Halloween spirit throughout Hornepayne. We couldn't have done it without you, and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
