Our clients are why we do what we do.

The impact our services have on the lives of seniors in our communities means everything to us.

Whether it’s a meal delivered to their door, a ride to an appointment, a friendly visit or support that helps them remain independent, every connection matters.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support seniors and help them continue to age at home, surrounded by the people, places and communities they know and love.

But don’t just take our word for it…Our clients share, in their own words, the difference Carefor’s services have made in their lives

More Than a Ride - It’s Independence & Connection

For many seniors, access to reliable transportation can make the difference between connection and healthcare, and isolation and illness.

Carefor’s Transportation Program helps seniors get to medical appointments. In 2025, Carefor provided 59,102 rides to 3,206 seniors which means:

By helping seniors stay connected to the services, people and places they rely on, Carefor’s Transportation Program helps seniors continue to live independently and age at home which is exactly where they want to be. https://carefor.ca/programs/transportation/

October 20th we recognized and celebrated our amazing cook Kim for everything she does each day. Your hard work, dedication, and care go far beyond preparing meals. You help create a warm and welcoming environment, bring comfort through your cooking, and make a positive difference in the lives of everyone you serve.

Thank you for your early mornings, your creativity, your kindness, and the love you put into every meal. We truly appreciate all that you do and are grateful to have you as such an important part of our team.

Friendly visiting – Bringing Connection

Isolation and loneliness can be common among seniors living in rural communities throughout the Eastern Counties. Carefor’s Friendly Visiting Program brings connection, companionship and a sense of belonging into their lives.

A conversation over a cup of coffee. A shared laugh. Someone to listen and simply be there.

These moments may seem small, but they can make a meaningful difference in someone’s day and remind them that they are not alone.

Volunteer with Carefor and help bring friendship and connection to a senior in your community. Learn more https://carefor.ca/contact-us/volunteer/
