Design to Print
We are excited to offer Design to Print, a hands-on Youth 3D Printing Entrepreneur Workshop for youth ages 14 to 30. This program builds on the spirit of our Design to Dollars initiative by teaching participants how to create, design, and manufacture their own products using 3D printing technology.

Participants will learn:
Introduction to simple CAD
Preparing files for printing using slicing software
3D printing best practices and safety
Resin 3D printing techniques
Filament 3D printing techniques
Creating and printing their own custom items

Youth will have the opportunity to design and print their own creations and take home the items they make.

The workshop will be led by Dalton McLeod, Owner of Timeless Impressions, with support from Juan Bidegain, Vice President of the Inuvik Tech Society.

Registration

To register, please email [email protected].

Participants must be able to attend all workshop sessions. Spaces are limited.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Aurora Research Institute for providing access to their learning space and 3D printers, and to NWT Literacy Council for funding this program.

We look forward to helping local youth develop valuable technology, design, creativity, and entrepreneurship skills through hands-on learning and innovation.
