Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps Centurion

Last Tuesday we celebrated the change in command from Lt(N) Jessica Notman to CENTURION veteran Commanding Officer, Lt(N) Matthew Beatty! LCdr Mike Evans, our Area OC was on deck to oversee the transfer of command, and took the opportunity to inspect our ship's company on parade.

A huge thank you from everyone at CENTURION to our outgoing CO! Lt(N) Notman steered the ship with a deft hand for almost four years, and will now be taking a break for a new adventure. That said, we are absolutely in good hands with Lt(N) Beatty! Bravo Zulu to all!

Open House tonight! Tuesday 9 September, 1900-2100 hrs.

Come join us this Tuesday for a Community Night dedicated to Ottawa First Responders! Friends and family encouraged to come for the evening. 1800-2000hrs (note earlier start and finish) at 5 Brouillette.

Come see what we’re all about! Booths will open at 1900 hrs followed by an introductory presentation. Aimed at first years, prospective cadets, and their parents/guardians. Hope to see you there!

Wishing everyone a safe and festive holiday season! Our cadets celebrated last week at our annual Holiday Dinner with much merriment (and some hijinks). See you in the new year!

Cadets from RCSCC Centurion, RCSCC Falkland, and RCACC 2332 got to spread some Christmas cheer by paying in the Kanata Christmas parade! Thank you to everyone who made it, and amazing playing from all 3 bands!

On Tuesday the seniors held a costume contest as well as some games to celebrate Halloween. Thank you to everyone who came in costume and brought their best energy, as well as the winners of the contest!

What an incredible day at Garrison Petawawa!

Today, our cadets had the amazing opportunity to participate in a large-scale CAF engagement event! They had a blast mingling with members of the Canadian Armed Forces, each one representing different trades and backgrounds. It was inspiring to see how many of these incredible individuals were once cadets themselves, now having full careers in the CAF.
