Bath Public School Kindergarteners Find New Penpal in Limestone Teddy
The Kindergarten class at Bath Public School recently came up with the idea of becoming penpals with Limestone Teddy, the Board’s Canine Assisted Intervention Dog.
Students have begun writing letters to Teddy, practicing their literacy and artistic skills while eagerly awaiting a response. Teddy is busy preparing his notes and ordering ink to stamp his pawprint signature on each letter.
This sweet connection highlights Teddy’s positive impact in schools and programs across the Limestone District School Board. With his wagging tail, gentle nature, and ability to connect with others, Teddy supports the well-being of students and staff wherever he goes.
Take a look at some of the letters Teddy has received from his new Kindergarten friends at Bath Public School.
