Kitimat General Hospital Foundation The Kitimat General Hospital Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to strengthening health care in Kitimat.

The Kitimat General Hospital Foundation is a registered charity and non-profit organization that supports local healthcare by bringing our community together to fund vital equipment and exceptional care — close to home. Working closely with Northern Health to identify equipment and services most in need and raising funds to deliver them to our community. The generous corporations, businesses and individuals in Kitimat have made it possible for the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation to meet those funding commitments. Donations are always appreciated with a variety of options including monetary donations (cash, cheque, paypal or credit card), monthly giving, memorial gifts, tribute donations, bequests in your will, gifts of securities and endowments.

LNG Canada Gift Helps Bring Advanced Emergency Care Closer to Home


October 2026 – Thanks to the incredible generosity of LNG Canada at the 2025 KGHF Gala last fall, we were able to purchase this important piece of equipment for our hospital.

There is often a journey between a generous donation and having new equipment on hand and ready to use.

That journey is complete, and our emergency team has POCUS (Point of Care Ultrasound Machine) available when they need it.

This portable ultrasound allows staff to quickly look inside the body, identify serious conditions such as internal bleeding, and make important treatment decisions without radiation or unnecessary patient transfers.
For our patients, it means faster answers, faster treatment and safer care — right here in Kitimat.

LNG Canada continues to invest in local healthcare, KGHF is grateful for the ongoing support.

🚌 W**E & WH***EY FESTIVAL BUS SCHEDULE 🍷🥃

Safe rides to and from the festival are available thanks to the incredible generosity of Transdev!

Please arrive early at your bus stop so you don’t miss your ride.

🏠 Return service: Two buses will leave Riverlodge at 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. to complete both the Downtown and Up the Hill loops.

A huge thank you to Transdev for helping our guests get home safely! ❤️

Thank You Transdev Canada for supporting our event and making sure everyone can enjoy and be safe! Please take advantage of their shuttle service to and from our W**e & Wh***ey Festival this Saturday. Here are the pick up times to get to the event with the stops. A shuttle will be provided for trips leaving the Riverlodge at 9 and 11 pm.
