Helping the helpers.
Health care workers and first responders are our last line of defense in the age of coronavirus. They are facing two major challenges in the coming days, weeks and months. They need more personal protective equipment (PPE) and many need a safe place to live.
While the PPE shortage has been front page news, what you may not know is that many of our frontline workers are staying apart from their families to avoid exposing them to this infection. We’re here to help connect them with property owners, hotel managers, Airbnb operators and anyone people who can provide shelter in their time of need.
We’re also doing our best to help facilitate PPE donations in any way we can. We encourage everyone in and around London to search through their home for unused PPE (even open packages are ok) and reach out so we can help get it into the hands of the people who are working to save lives.
