The London North Centre Honour Roll is an initiative launched by MP Fragiskatos back in March 2017 with the objective to identify individuals whose actions inspire us all to build a stronger, more supportive and inclusive community. For the third consecutive year the response from Londoners to the call for nominations was overwhelming. The volunteer selection committee completed a comprehensive review of all nominations received in the spring.

Getting to Know the LNCYC! 02/04/2019

Mental Health is one of the five areas of focus for the London North Centre Youth Council, so we asked our Youth Councillors: "What is a quote, motto, or phrase that helps you get through tough times, whether it's bad weather, a stressful assignment, or just a long day?" These are some of their responses.

LNCYC 2018-2019 02/03/2019

At February's London North Centre Youth Council meeting, our five sub-committees presented reports on their respective area of focus: Canada’s Role in the World, Environment & Climate Change, Mental Health, Status of Women, and Youth Employment.

They provided background information on their selected topic, an insightful youth perspective, and recommendations to Peter Fragiskatos, Member of Parliament for London North Centre.

Thank you to MP Peter Fragiskatos for your continued support of youth in the London North Centre and throughout the City of London.

We sincerely appreciated your insight and feedback on our sub-committee reports this morning!

Today is Day. Let’s remember to keep talking today, tomorrow and every day after that about mental health. 💙

Getting to Know the LNCYC! 01/12/2019

Q: If you could host a talk show, who would be your first guest?

A: Definitely Elizabeth May! Elizabeth May is someone who I have always looked up to in the political sphere. Her work as a lawyer, environmentalist, author, and activist is both inspiring and critical. She has used her passions to drive change in politics; she's assertive and compassionate, and really understands the principle of hard work in the pursuit of social change. As a politician, she is very active in the community and really shows how much she cares for a social change. It really motivates me that the political and legal sphere as not changed her core values, but has enhanced her ability to succeed.
