We had a fantastic time at the Kiwanis Club of Forest City-London Kite Festival this weekend! 🪁
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Merrymount table. We enjoyed meeting so many community members, sharing information about our programs, and connecting with both new and familiar faces.
A special thank you to Kiwanis Club of Forest City-London for organizing this wonderful event in support of Ark Aid Street Mission and for inviting us to be part of it.

A few members of the Merrymount team recently attended the Early Childhood Resource Consultant Network of Ontario (ECRCNO) 2026 Conference in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Over three days of learning, collaboration, and networking, participants explored this year’s theme, The Essence of Excellence: Getting Back to What Matters. It was a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with the core values that guide work with children and families.
We’re grateful for the chance to learn from colleagues across the province, share ideas, and bring new knowledge back to our programs and services.

For children facing uncertainty, even one moment of safety can change everything.
One former Merrymount client shared that Merrymount became “an island in a sea of uncertainty” during a difficult childhood, a memory of safety that stayed with them for life.
Today, Merrymount continues to support over 8,000 children and 2,500 families each year through programs designed to support emotional well-being and family stability.
The care a child receives today can shape their tomorrow. $304 provides a night of care for a child in crisis. Every dollar brings comfort, safety, and support when it’s needed most.

May is International Supervised Visitation Awareness Month, and today, May 21, we recognize the importance of safe, child-focused spaces that support children in sustaining healthy relationships during family separation and transition.
At Merrymount, our Supervised Access Program provides a safe, neutral, and supportive environment for families experiencing high-conflict separation or divorce. Through supervised parenting time and supervised exchanges, children can maintain important family connections while their safety, comfort, and wellbeing remain the priority.
Merrymount’s Supervised Access Program serves families across London/Middlesex, St. Thomas/Elgin, and Woodstock/Oxford.
Every visit, every exchange, and every supportive interaction helps reduce conflict and create a more positive experience for children and families navigating difficult circumstances.

Today, 17 May 2026, we mark the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, a global moment of solidarity and resistance for LGBTQIA+ communities.
At Merrymount, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, supported, and accepted for who they are. Creating inclusive communities means standing against discrimination in all its forms and ensuring people are met with dignity and compassion.
