Every year on the first Sunday of May, we come together as a community to mark the Battle of the Atlantic.

Today, we honoured the sacrifices made and lives lost during this campaign, and remembered the sailors, aviators, and merchant mariners who were lost during the Second World War.

Chaque année, le premier dimanche de mai, nous nous réunissons en tant que communauté pour commémorer la bataille de l'Atlantique.

Aujourd'hui, nous avons rendu hommage aux sacrifices consentis et aux vies perdues au cours de cette campagne, et nous avons rendu hommage aux marins, aux aviateurs et aux marins marchands qui ont péri pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.

Exercise Brine Claw 2026

His Majesty’s Canadian Ship Prevost proudly took to the waters of Lake Huron this weekend, with sailors conducting small boat operations in collaboration with the Canadian Coast Guard.

Exercises like Brine Claw strengthen the skills essential for operations both domestically and internationally.

Le navire de Sa Majesté le « Prevost » a fièrement pris la mer sur le lac Huron ce week-end, ses marins menant des opérations en petites embarcations en collaboration avec la Garde côtière canadienne.

Des exercices tels que Brine Claw permettent de renforcer les compétences indispensables aux opérations tant au niveau national qu’international.

His Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Prevost will be conducting Exercise Brine Claw on Lake Huron from April 11 to April 12, 2026. This marks the first time HMCS Prevost will conduct exercises in this area, and we look forward to connecting with the community.

Over the weekend, you may see sailors on the lake conducting critical small boat operations. If you see us on the water, feel free to snap a picture and tag us!

Le navire de Sa Majesté (HMCS) Prevost mènera l'exercice Brine Claw sur le lac Huron du 11 au 12 avril 2026. C'est la première fois que le HMCS Prevost mènera des exercices dans cette région, et nous sommes impatients de rencontrer la population locale.
Au cours du week-end, vous apercevrez peut-être des marins sur le lac en train de mener des opérations critiques à bord de petites embarcations. Si vous nous voyez sur l'eau, n'hésitez pas à prendre une photo et à nous taguer !

HMCS Prevost continues to grow!

On March 25th 2026, HMCS Prevost welcomed 12 new sailors into the Naval Reserve during an enrolment ceremony.

These 12 sailors will now begin their journey, they will receive their kit and begin Basic Military Qualification right here in London, ON.

Members of His Majesty’s Canadian Ship Prevost were on the range this weekend sharpening their skills with the Canadian Armed Forces’ newest service pistol — the C22 Full Frame Modular Pistol.

Introduced into service in 2023, the C22 is a modern 9mm platform designed for reliability, adaptability, and performance in any environment. From safety drills to marksmanship, training like this ensures our sailors are ready for operations when it matters most.

Les membres du Navire canadien de Sa Majesté Prevost étaient sur le pas de tir ce week‑end pour perfectionner leurs compétences avec le tout nouveau pistolet de service des Forces armées canadiennes — le pistolet modulaire C22 à carcasse complète.

Mis en service en 2023, le C22 est une plateforme moderne de calibre 9 mm conçue pour offrir fiabilité, adaptabilité et performance dans tous les environnements. Des exercices de sécurité au tir de précision, ce type d’entraînement garantit que nos marins sont prêts pour les opérations lorsque cela compte le plus.

His Majesty’s Canadian Ship Prevost is proud to recognize two sailors who have recently been appointed to the rank of Master Sailor.

Members of the His Majesty’s Canadian Ship Prevost recently took part in a dry run to qualify on the C22 Modular Full Frame Pistol (MFFP) — the Canadian Armed Forces’ newest standard-issue sidearm.

These initial dry runs allow our sailors to hit the range with confidence in themselves and the new C22 sidearm.

Les membres du navire canadien de Sa Majesté Prevost ont récemment participé à un exercice d’entraînement pour se qualifier au maniement du pistolet modulaire à cadre intégral (MFFP) C22, la toute nouvelle arme de poing standard des Forces armées canadiennes.

Ces premiers exercices d’entraînement permettent à nos marins d’aller au champ de tir en toute confiance, tant en eux-mêmes qu’en leur nouvelle arme de poing C22.
