Did you know that Canadian soldiers waited in tunnels under the battlefield before the assault at Vimy Ridge? Curious to learn how they spent their time waiting? To find the answers, join us and our special guest, Zenon Andrusyszyn, director of Canadigm Group.
A workshop about a very little known aspect of the assault at Vimy Ridge and an excellent opportunity to discover more about the carvings made by Canadian soldiers in northern France at the beginning of April 1917. Youth will learn the history and get a chance to make their own plaster carving. Designed for youth aged 8-12.
Pre-registration on Eventbrite required to save your child's spot. Limited availability, one carving for one child, Parents or guardians accompanying the minor(s) are not required to register unless they wish to create their own carving.

Looking for a family activity for the April 24th PA Day? Register to take part in Etching and Carving at Vimy, a family PA day activity. 1917, the four Canadian Divisions forming the Canadian Expeditionary Force stormed Vimy Ridge in an effort to breach the German defences north of the French city Arras.
