📚 FREE Exam Study Prep Sessions for Teens 📚

Exam season is almost here, and LUSO is here to help! Join us on June 11 and 18 from 6:00–7:30 PM at St. Jude Church for two free study prep sessions designed to help teens feel more confident and prepared for exams. Learn study strategies, time management and organization skills, discover ways to manage stress, and explore tips for maintaining your wellbeing during exam season.

Our Literacy Programs were buzzing in May!

Our Shared Beginnings theme was Farm Animals, and our little ones had a blast exploring and learning.

We wrapped up our first round of Sketch Squad, which was a huge hit — stay tuned for its return! We also enjoyed the warm weather with outdoor nature sketching.
In Little Scientists, we dug into the layers of soil and took learning outside with a scavenger hunt and plenty of messy play.

For Creative Club, thank you to Urban Roots London for donating seedlings! Participants decorated pots and planted their own seedlings to take home.

We also launched Board Game Builders, another big success. Our young creators designed unique games and decorated custom boxes to store them.

On Friday May 29th LUSO Community Services supported Family Centre Argyle in hosting Journey to the Jurassic for Kid’s First Day (Investing in Children ). The children had lots of fun exploring dinosaur-themed crafts, activities, and sensory play.

We are thrilled to share that our incredible community ordered a total of 101 dozen donuts for our Krispy Kreme Fundraiser!

A massive thank you to everyone who placed an order, shared our posts, and helped spread the word. Because of your sweet support, we are able to continue funding vital Children & Youth Programming across our neighborhoods!

Last week, 6 of our youth joined us on a nature hike through Stoney Creek Valley Trail. We were able to play some nature bingo, spot wildlife, and explore the forest!

Join us on Thursdays for our weekly hiking group! Each week features a different activity on the trail, such as scavenger hunts, photography, and trail clean-ups!
