🚒 That’s a wrap on Fire Prevention Week 2026! 🔥

What a busy week it’s been! Our crews were out and about visiting local schools, connecting with students, and helping teach the next generation about fire safety. We also teamed up with our friends at Gananoque Fire Services to spread the word about the importance of having working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in every home.

A huge THANK YOU to Lyndhurst Home Hardware, Gananoque Home Hardware, and Gananoque Canadian Tire for partnering with us and helping make this year’s Fire Prevention Week a success! Your support helps us get important fire safety information into the hands of our community.

Fire Prevention Week may be over, but fire safety is a year-round responsibility. Take a few minutes today to test your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms — it could make all the difference when it matters most!

Thank you to our dedicated crews, community partners, and everyone who took the time to stop by, ask questions, and learn a little more about keeping their families safe. ❤️

Stay safe, Leeds and the Thousand Islands!

warm to the touch, makes popping noises, changes in shape or
color, or if you see smoke. If it is safe, move the device away
from anything that can catch fire. A damaged battery can
