Happy Back to School to our clients starting over, our program graduates who were brave on their very first time away from mom and everyone in between today. You've got this! We're cheering you on!

RISE has 17 programs to support women or their families experiencing unexpected or challenging pregnancy. Little ones and their parents in our programs right now are building a solid foundation for a bright future!

In addition to our regular care package needs of diapers, wipes, baby food, formula and feminine supplies, we also need sunscreen for the babies.

If you can help us care for these precious little ones that would be amazing! Items can be dropped at the centre today, or Tuesday-Friday 10am-4pm next week.

Please note the centre will be closed a few Fridays during the summer so it's best to check before coming on a Friday if the centre is open that day!

🌸 Thank You for Helping Hope Grow 🌸

As our Flower Power Campaign comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who gave, prayed, shared, encouraged, and supported this campaign.

This year was especially meaningful as we celebrated 35 years of walking alongside women and families in our community. Together, we reflected on the lives impacted, the hope restored, and the generations strengthened through compassionate care and support.

Because of you, women facing unexpected pregnancies will continue to find a safe place to turn. Parents will receive encouragement and practical resources. Those experiencing pregnancy loss will find support. Women struggling after a past abortion experience will know they are not alone.

Your generosity is about more than meeting needs today, it is helping create hope for generations to come.

Thank you for being part of this mission. Thank you for believing in women and families. Thank you for helping them flourish.

Today we celebrate Canadoa, our home. We are grateful to live in a country where individuals and families can find support, compassion, and hope during life's most challenging moments.

At RISE, we are honoured to walk alongside women, men, and families facing unexpected pregnancies, early parenting challenges, and pregnancy loss. Every day, we see the strength of our community as people come together to offer practical help, encouragement, and care.

As we celebrate Canada Day, we also take time to reflect on our shared responsibility to build communities where everyone is valued, supported, and treated with dignity.

Support changes more than a moment, it can change generations.

When a woman facing an unexpected pregnancy receives compassionate support, she gains more than practical resources. She gains encouragement, confidence, and the reassurance that she does not have to walk alone.

When a new parent receives guidance and support, families are strengthened.

When someone experiencing pregnancy loss finds a safe place to grieve, healing becomes possible.

When a woman struggling after a past abortion experience is met with compassion and understanding, she can begin to find hope and healing.

The impact of that support extends far beyond one conversation or one season. It impacts children, families, relationships, and future generations.

For 35 years, RISE has had the privilege of walking alongside women through some of life's most challenging moments, helping them find support, hope, and a path forward.

Because when women are cared for, families flourish. And when families flourish, hope grows for generations. 🌸

Sometimes the most important support isn't something you can hold; it's knowing someone is there for you.

Pregnancy, early parenting, and pregnancy loss can be emotional and overwhelming experiences. While many women rely on family and friends for support, not everyone has a strong network they can turn to.

That's where RISE comes in.

Through free, confidential, peer-based support, we provide a safe space where women can share their experiences, process their emotions, ask questions, and know they are not alone.

The tiny sleepers, summer outfits, and baby essentials that your child no longer needs can become a blessing to another family.

Through our Bright Beginnings program, gently used clothing is redistributed to local families with young children, helping reduce financial stress while diverting reusable items from landfill.

By participating in our Spring/Summer Baby Clothing Drive, you're helping create a circular economy that benefits both people and the planet.

Thank you for helping us provide practical support, dignity, and hope to families in our community.

This Circular Economy initiative is partly funded by The Regional Municipality of York.

Every outfit donated tells a story of community care.

For families experiencing financial hardship, receiving baby clothing can ease pressure on already stretched budgets. For our community, these donations help reduce waste and extend the life of valuable resources.

Through Bright Beginnings, donated baby clothing is sorted, shared, and redistributed to families who need it most.

If you have spring or summer baby clothing your family has outgrown, we'd love to give it a new purpose.

Together, we're building a stronger, more sustainable community; one tiny outfit at a time.

This initiative is partly funded by The Regional Municipality of York.
