Lithium-ion batteries are part of everyday life, powering everything from phones and laptops to e-bikes and power tools. They're generally safe, but they can pose a fire risk if they're damaged or not charged properly. This year, we're highlighting the everyday charging habits that can help reduce the risk and keep your home safe.

A few of our members were in Miramichi this weekend, sharpening their skills alongside firefighters from all over the province at the annual NBAFC Fire Services Workshop.

Training opportunities like these help keep us ready to serve our community. 🚒

We've just received some exciting new equipment that will strengthen our ability to respond to wildfires quickly and effectively. 🔥

This new fire skid has been added to Unit 21, featuring a 200-gallon water tank, pump, and hose reel. It gives us added flexibility and speed in our response, particularly in more remote areas that can be difficult to reach with our regular apparatus.
