Families First Resource Centre At Families First, parents can find information, support, friendships and opportunities to help one another with the very important job of raising a family

WHAT IS A FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE? Family resource centres are accessible, welcoming, fun places for families to get together and take part in a variety of activities. Families First, previously known as Carousel, began in 1994 to help promote the emotional, physical, intellectual and social well-being of children aged 0-6 and their families. This is done by offering a variety of programs and services, such as parent-child play groups, field trips, special events, clothing exchanges and cooking groups. All of the programs and services at Families First are offered at no cost to families thanks to funding from the Public Health Agency of Canada and the generosity of our partners.

🌟What is Little Tots?🌟

🩷Little Tots is a program for children age 12-18 months and their parent, grandparent or caregiver to enjoy some age appropriate activities while getting acquainted with other little ones the same age. It will be a great opportunity to play with things you may not have at home and get some fun ideas of things you can do at home with simple items from around the house!🩷

💚Childcare will be available for siblings/other children while you and your “toddler” take part in the activities and you can give them your undivided attention without the distractions of home (dishes, laundry, housework etc).💚
