Grade 3 and 4 students had fun incorporating justifications in their scenes throughout these improvisations sessions with ! Students were introduced to the platform of a scene : who, what and where. They did a great job establishing who they were in their scenes and where they were with their scene partners. They listened very attentively to what their scene partners were saying and were adding their unique ideas to keep the story moving forward. From friends shopping for sneakers at the mall, to siblings on a plane ordering food from a flight attendant on their way to Florida, these scenes were a blast to watch !

The grade 6 class had the opportunity to visit the Montreal Holocaust Museum. The students participated in a guided tour, exploring the various artifacts, and reflected on the stories and testimonies of the survivors. This outing, organized by our PDCI animator - Ms. Veronica, allowed students to understand the importance of continuing to learn and remember the Holocaust. By confronting this difficult history, students are reminded of their responsibility to challenge discrimination and to help ensure that such atrocities never happen again.
