About the Library

The Pictou-Antigonish Regional Library is one of nine regional public libraries across Nova Scotia. The regional library system was created through provincial legislation, the Public Libraries Act. Each regional library is governed by an independent library board. There are seven branch libraries, one rural access site, Borrow-by-Mail service, library outreach and an extensive virtual library service.

Celebrate the power of poetry at the Library.

On Saturday November 7th at 2:00 p.m. come enjoy an afternoon of words, thought, and inspiration as Chad shares writings from his new book "A Life Between the Brackets".

Through powerful and moving verses, Chad explores our relationship with the natural world, the struggles of humanity, social justice, and the importance of remembering those whose stories must not be forgotten.

From the wisdom of forests and the sentience of animals to the realities of war, environmental neglect, and tragedies close to home, these poems invite us to pause, reflect, and consider our place in the world.
