Beginning this fall, Ontario Parks will be replacing comfort stations at Turkey Point Provincial Park to enhance campground facilities.

To prepare for the upcoming construction, our laundry facilities in both the Walking Stick and Whippoorwill Campgrounds will be closed for the season as of September 1st.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prepare to complete these important infrastructure improvements to better serve visitors.

Thank you.

👻 You may see these ghostly little flowers around our forest floor this time of year!

🌱 These plants are aptly named Ghost Pipe, and they’re not your average plant! They do not have chlorophyll, which makes other plants green and allows them to create energy from sunlight.

🍄‍🟫 Instead, they sap energy from tree roots via underground fungi. They rely on an interconnected network of underground roots to stay alive - talk about teamwork!

👻 Next time you’re on a hike in our park, look in shady areas for these spooky little flowers!
