There are several questions about data centres that need to be answered, Claudia Chender attempts to ask a few of them.

More and more people like you can’t afford to rent or buy a home, and that's not right.

We want to know where is the worst road you've driven?

Are you dealing with the worst road in Nova Scotia?

Time and again, Nova Scotians have been told to live with potholes, washouts, and cracks. Then pay out-of-pocket to repair damage to their vehicles from roads that aren’t being maintained properly.

Tell us how poor road conditions affect you and your family. Show us your road at worstroadns.ca

After years of New Democrat advocacy finally changes are being made to help workers, reducing the number of hours required for overtime and banning tip theft.

Today we introduced Bradley’s Law in honour of Bradley Lowe, his family, his story and his fight.

The Houston government’s choice to deny enhanced income assistance to people living in tents is cruel, plain and simple. This government needs to help people get out of encampments and into stable housing — not make it harder for them to survive.

Homelessness has tripled in Halifax under this government’s watch, and affordable housing remains hard to find. Taking support away from vulnerable Nova Scotians only pushes them further into poverty.

Shelter is a basic need whether you’re living in an apartment, a house, or a tent. Bradley’s Law would ensure that people aren’t denied the income assistance they need simply because they’re homeless.

Thank you to Jackie Lowe, Bradley's mother, for joining us to share Bradley's story.
