JUNIOR CURLING
If you are in grades 6-8 and would be interested in learning about the lifelong sport of curling, please come to the Portage Curling Club for lessons, skill development and games.
We are starting the first session on November 9, 4:00-5:30. If you are unable to attend the first session, please join us November 16, 23, December 7, 14. When we get back from Christmas holidays, the dates are January 4, 11, 18, 25 and February 1. We hope to play a bonspiel of some form in March.
Students will carry their phys.ed shoes with them to wear out on the ice. No outside shoes are allowed. They need to wear comfortable clothes as well like pajama bottoms or sweat pants. NO JEANS EVER.
Brooms and sliders are provided by the curling club for kids to use. If you have your own curling gear and want to wear it or bring it, please do.
If buses are cancelled on a junior curling day, then there will be no curling for the kids that day.
