BEHIND EVERY NUMBER IS A NEIGHBOUR.

As we celebrate 20 years of the Soul Food Okotoks Food Bank Christmas Concert, we want to shine a light on WHY community support continues to matter.

In 2025, the Okotoks Food Bank's Main Food Hamper Program:

- Provided more than 1,492 food hampers

- Supported 4,470 individuals

- Served a population in which 36.7% were children

These aren't just statistics.

They represent families, neighbours, children, seniors, and community members who deserve access to nutritious food and compassionate support.

For 20 years, Soul Food has brought people together to help make that support possible.

And the need continues.

💚 Your generosity helps put food on tables and hope in hearts.

Join us in celebrating 20 years of music and giving this December 8 & 9.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Repair Café for their generous donation of $140 plus food items!

Repair Café brings our community together to give everyday items a second life, helping reduce waste while sharing valuable repair skills. At their October 24 event, attendees were also encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to support the Food Bank.

We love seeing community initiatives that not only help keep useful items out of the landfill but also find ways to give back to those in need.

Thank you to Repair Café and everyone who contributed for your kindness and generosity!

Another blast from the past has made its way into our donation bins! This one is for the archives.

This time, it's a box of Robin Hood Confetti Angel Food Cake Mix, with packaging that dates back to the 1990s!

While we always appreciate the generosity, food items this old can't be distributed to our clients. They do, however, make for some pretty interesting discoveries!

As fun as these vintage finds are, our shelves are always in need of everyday essentials like peanut butter, canned meals, soups, canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, and pasta.

Have a few extras in your pantry? We'd love to put them to good use! Please consider donating unopened, in-date food items.

Thank you for continuing to help us keep our shelves stocked!

🤝STRONG COMMUNITIES ARE BUILT THROUGH PARTNERSHIP.

Local businesses do so much more than provide products and services. They create jobs, support families, and invest in the wellbeing of our community.

When businesses support initiatives such as the Soul Food Christmas Concert, they're helping strengthen a community-wide commitment to food security.

This year, we're celebrating 20 years of Soul Food and inviting businesses to be part of the milestone.

20 YEARS. COUNTLESS MEMORIES. ONE INCREDIBLE COMMUNITY.

For 20 years, the Soul Food Okotoks Food Bank Christmas Concert has been bringing people together through the joy of music and the spirit of giving. 🎶

What makes Soul Food so special isn't just the music.

It's the performers who share their talents.

It's the volunteers who give their time.

It's the businesses that step forward to support our community.

And it's YOU — the people who have made this Christmas tradition possible for two decades.
As we prepare for the 20th Anniversary Concert on December 8 & 9, we're taking a walk down memory lane to celebrate the people, performances, and special moments that have shaped Soul Food.

Were you part of one of our past concerts?

We'd love to hear your favourite Soul Food memory in the comments!

Here's to 20 years of making music and making a difference.
