On 16 April 2026, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Zambia to Canada received Ms. Tania Louis, Secretary General of the Canada‑Africa Chamber of Commerce, for a courtesy call at the Zambian High Commission in Ottawa. Their discussions centred on SICAF and the strengthening of trade relations between Zambia and Canada. The meeting underscored the importance of continued engagement in advancing business partnerships and deepening economic cooperation between the two countries.

The Zambia High Commission in Ottawa was honoured to participate in the Ottawa Travel and Tourism Show 2026, where it proudly joined fellow exhibitors and stakeholders in promoting global tourism, cultural exchange, and international partnership.

The event provided an important platform to showcase Zambia’s rich cultural heritage, exceptional tourism potential, and warm hospitality, while engaging meaningfully with visitors, travel professionals, and partners from across Canada and beyond.
