has announced 41 new Knowledge Synthesis Grants under The Arts Transformed, investing nearly $1.2 million in research examining how the arts can address complex societal challenges.
Funded projects will explore topics such as culturally diverse aging, Indigenous food systems, and accessibility in music education—advancing knowledge that can inform policy, practice and future research.

These projects, led and co-led by Indigenous researchers, will explore how plastic pollution affects wildlife, the environment, and human health.

New funding opportunity: the Trans-Atlantic Platform (T-AP) for Social Sciences and Humanities has launched Preparing for Tomorrow—Societies and Strategies in Times of Transition.
T-AP brings together researchers, research organizations and funders, including SSHRC, from countries in South America, Africa, North America and Europe, to engage in transnational dialogue and collaboration.
