Happy New Year, everyone!

2025 was an interesting year. Our first ever fundraising event, The Grand Parade, was held on Sept. 20/25 and was very successful, raising a solid amount for Abbeyfield Parkdale and Abbeyfield Riverside! Plans are to do the Parade again in September 2026 and raise even more. The money is great and helps keep the costs as low as possible for the residents. The other fantastic thing is the exposure for Abbeyfield - more people learning about and supporting the Abbeyfield housing model for seniors!

Thank you again to everyone who helped organize, fundraise, and volunteered at the event. We could not have done it without each and everyone of you!

We are looking forward to more fun in 2026!

Tomorrow, Sept. 20/25 is the BIG day - The Grand Parade! The planning time has gone by SO fast!!

We are raising funds to keep our house in great shape for the 10 residents who enjoy calling us "home".

With nearly 30 years of dedicated service, Jo-ann has played a vital role in supporting Abbeyfield Ottawa and creating a warm, safe home for seniors in our community. 💙

The Grand Parade fundraising walk takes place at Abbeyfield Ottawa on Saturday, September 20th and we seek to raise $15,000 to fund a number of programs.

Pictured here is Camilla, one of the ten residents who live at Abbeyfield Ottawa. Originally from North Vancouver, Camilla has lived at the house for eight years and welcomes the friendship the house brings. She will be walking on September 20th and invites everyone to join her on that day.
