Last night, H.E. Ambassador Feda Abdelhady met with members of the Canada–Palestine Parliamentary Friendship Group to discuss the grave situation in Occupied Palestine and the ongoing Israeli violations and atrocity crimes against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

Ambassador Abdelhady highlighted the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the Israeli genocide and continued attacks that have caused mounting civilian casualties, and the ongoing obstruction of humanitarian assistance, forced displacement of the population and destruction being inflicted by the occupation.

She also addressed the escalating Israeli aggressions in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. She highlighted ongoing Israeli settlement colonization and land theft, the rampant settler terrorism, which is being carried out with the backing of the Israeli government and military, and Israel’s deliberate targeting Palestinian civilians, including women and children, in an ongoing campaign of ethnic cleansing.

The meeting underscored the urgent need for international action to protect the Palestinian people, including increased humanitarian aid, and to ensure accountability for all grave breaches of international law, including through the imposition of sanctions, in order to bring an end to the occupation and to assist the Palestinian people in the realization of the their inalienable rights, including their rights to self-determination and return.

التقت سعادة السفيرة فداء عبد الهادي، مساء أمس، بأعضاء مجموعة الصداقة البرلمانية الكندية–الفلسطينية، في لقاء تناول الأوضاع الخطيرة في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، في ظل استمرار جرائم الاحتلال الإسرائيلي وانتهاكاته الجسيمة بحق الشعب الفلسطيني في قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية، بما فيها القدس الشرقية.

وأكدت السفيرة عبد الهادي أن قطاع غزة لا يزال يواجه كارثة إنسانية غير مسبوقة في ظل استمرار حرب الإبادة الجماعية الإسرائيلية، وسقوط المزيد من الضحايا المدنيين، والقيود المفروضة على دخول المساعدات الإنسانية، وسياسات التهجير القسري، والدمار الواسع الذي يستهدف مقومات الحياة الأساسية.

كما حذّرت من التصعيد الإسرائيلي المتواصل في الضفة الغربية، بما فيها القدس الشرقية، بما يشمل التوسع الاستيطاني والاستيلاء على الأراضي الفلسطينية، وتصاعد إرهاب المستوطنين المدعوم من الحكومة الإسرائيلية وجيش الاحتلال، واستهداف المدنيين الفلسطينيين، بمن فيهم النساء والأطفال، في إطار سياسات تهدف إلى تهجير الشعب الفلسطيني وتكريس التطهير العرقي.

*Three Years of Genocidal War: The Palestinian People Remain Steadfast in Their Struggle for Life, Freedom and Dignity*

On the third anniversary of the beginning of Israel’s genocidal war against the Palestinian people, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine condemns, in the strongest terms, the continued genocidal campaign waged by Israel, the occupying power, against the Palestinian people throughout the occupied State of Palestine.

Since the beginning of the genocide, more than 74,000 Palestinians have been killed, approximately 70% of them women and children, and nearly 175,000 injured by Israeli military attacks on Gaza. Nearly 1,500 Palestinians have also been killed during the ceasefire period. The reality is that Palestinians continue to be killed, wounded and terrorized on a daily basis, and their suffering has not ended with the declaration of a ceasefire.

The ongoing destruction, restrictions on humanitarian assistance, and closure of crossings are the result of deliberate Israeli policies and Israel’s refusal to fulfill its international legal obligations, including those arising from UN Security Council Resolution 2803 and the Trump plan, while its continued control over approximately 70% of the Gaza Strip seeks to impose a new reality on the ground.

The scale of the catastrophe is immense. Israel has employed starvation, r**e, sexual violence and other grave violations as weapons of war, while normalizing the targeting of protected civilian sites, including homes, hospitals, schools, shelters and tents housing displaced Palestinians. The impunity afforded to Israel has encouraged the continuation of these crimes despite United Nations resolutions, international action, and the binding provisional measures ordered by the International Court of Justice, including measures aimed at preventing acts falling within the scope of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

What is taking place in the Gaza Strip cannot be separated from the broader colonial reality imposed on the Palestinian people throughout the occupied State of Palestine by the illegal Israeli occupation. In the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, ethnic cleansing and forced displacement of Palestinian families continue through annexation, settlement expansion, settler terrorism, seizure of Palestinian land, withholding of Palestinian funds, killings, arrests, home demolitions, land confiscation, checkpoints and iron gates.

These policies constitute an existential threat to the Palestinian people. More than 1,200 Palestinians, including 210 children, have been also killed in the West Bank since the beginning of Israel’s genocidal war.

The international community now faces a fundamental test of the credibility and authority of the international legal order. The continued impunity of the occupying power threatens not only the Palestinian people, but also the foundations of international law, justice and accountability upon which the international system is built, and peace and security in our region and globally. The failure to recognize the genocidal nature of what has taken place in Gaza, as established through international law and reflected in United Nations documentation and reporting, and to act swiftly to ensure accountability and halt these atrocities has contributed to the continuation of these crimes and to Israel’s increasing disregard for its obligations under international law.

The international community must move from statements to concrete action. It must take effective measures to confront the unlawful system of occupation and colonial domination, including through sanctions against the occupying power and settlers, an end to the transfer of weapons that enable violations, a prohibition on trade in settlement goods, and accountability for entities, individuals and companies involved in or benefiting from the settlement enterprise and the occupation as a whole.

The Ministry calls on the international community to act now to end Israel’s unlawful occupation, uphold the Palestinian people’s rights to self-determination, independence and return and assist in their realization, and provide effective international protection for the Palestinian people and their land. Gaza remains an integral part of the State of Palestine, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and Israel must withdraw fully and halt its annexation attempts.

After three years of genocidal war, justice cannot be selective, peace cannot rest on impunity or forced demographic and geographic change, and lasting stability cannot exist under occupation.
The time has come to move from documenting violations to preventing them; from statements to concrete action; from managing the conflict to ending it; and from preserving the status quo to enforcing international law and respecting the inalienable human rights and dignity of the Palestinian people and their right to live in freedom, peace and security in their land.

Palestine Welcomes UN Update of Database on Companies Involved in Israeli Settlements*

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomes the annual update by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights of its database of companies and entities involved in activities related to illegal Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem.
The update adds 61 companies, bringing the total number of listed entities to 214. This update constitutes a further step toward advancing accountability, ending impunity, and addressing the economic and financial networks that sustain and entrench Israel’s illegal settlement enterprise.

We call on all States to use available legal, political, and diplomatic tools to ensure that entities under their jurisdiction do not contribute to or benefit from illegal settlement activities. We also call on companies and financial and economic entities involved in such activities to immediately cease and withdraw from any involvement that sustains them.
The State of Palestine will continue its diplomatic and legal efforts to advance accountability, uphold the Palestinian people’s inalienable right to self-determination, and work toward ending the Israeli occupation and realizing an independent and sovereign State of Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital.

*Smotrich’s Dangerous Statements Are an Explicit Call to Escalate the War of Destruction, Displacement and Annexation in the West Bank*

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns Israeli Minister Smotrich’s dangerous calls for war in the occupied West Bank, the replication of Israel’s destruction in Gaza, and the dismantling of the Palestinian Authority. His statements are an explicit call for escalation, annexation and displacement, aimed at undermining the prospects of an independent Palestinian state.
Such incitement is a direct reflection of the policies pursued by the Israeli government through killing, displacement, settlement expansion, land seizure, and attempts to impose a new reality by force in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. The Palestinian Authority and the institutions of the State of Palestine are integral to the Palestinian national project and to the realization of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state. Any attempt to undermine or dismantle them carries full responsibility for its consequences.
The Ministry warns that continued international silence in the face of such incitement only emboldens the Israeli government to advance its policies and pushes the region toward further instability.
The Ministry calls on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council and the United States, to assume their political and legal responsibilities and take immediate, concrete measures to compel Israel to end its crimes, halt settlement expansion, annexation and displacement, and protect the Palestinian people and their national institutions.
There can be no security, stability or peace through war, killing, displacement and settlement expansion. The path to peace lies in ending the Israeli occupation and realizing the independence of the State of Palestine on the 4 June 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with international law, relevant UN resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.

Israel’s Evacuation of UNRWA’s Qalandia Center Is a Grave Assault on the United Nations, International Law and the Rights of Palestinian Refugees

تدين وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين بأشد العبارات إقدام سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، اليوم، على اقتحام وإخلاء مركز قلنديا للتدريب المهني التابع لوكالة الأمم المتحدة لإغاثة وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين "الأونروا" في القدس الشرقية المحتلة، وطرد الموظفين المتواجدين فيه ومنعهم من العودة إليه، في انتهاك صارخ للقانون الدولي ولحرمة منشآت الأمم المتحدة وحصاناتها وامتيازاتها، وتصعيد خطير في استهداف الوجود الأممي في القدس المحتلة. خاصة وانه يأتي بعد يوم واحد من الجولة الميدانية التي عقدتها وزارة الخارجية للسفراء المعتمدين لدى دولة فلسطين الى مخيم قلنديا.

وتدين الوزارة مشاركة مسؤولين في حكومة الاحتلال في عملية الاقتحام والإخلاء بما فيهم الوزير المستوطن المتطرف، ايتمار بن غفير وما رافقها من إجراءات ميدانية هدفت إلى إحكام السيطرة على المركز ومحيطه، معتبرة أن ذلك يعكس إصرارا رسميا على تحدي مكانة الأمم المتحدة وحصاناتها، وفرض وقائع بالقوة على مؤسساتها ومنشآتها.

وترى الوزارة أن استهداف مركز قلنديا يتجاوز الاعتداء على مبنى أو منشأة بعينها، ليطال جوهر الولاية الدولية للأونروا ودورها في حماية وخدمة اللاجئين الفلسطينيين، ويشكل محاولة لضرب أدوات الإغاثة والتعليم والصحة والحماية التي أنشأها المجتمع الدولي لخدمة اللاجئين، ان استهداف وكالة الغوث هو جزء من حرب الإبادة ضد الشعب الفلسطيني في مسعى متواصل لاستهداف حقوقهم غير القابلة للتصرف، وفي مقدمتها حقهم في العودة والتعويض وفقا للقرار 194.

تشير الوزارة أن القدس الشرقية جزء لا يتجزأ من الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، وأن سلطات الاحتلال لا سيادة لها عليها٬ ولا تملك أي حق في تغيير الوضع القانوني للمدينة أو التصرف في المنشآت الأممية القائمة فيها أو المساس بحصاناتها وامتيازاتها. كما تؤكد أن فرض إجراءات بالقوة على مؤسسات الأمم المتحدة لا ينشئ حقا ولا يغير من الوضع القانوني القائم، وإنما يمثل انتهاكا إضافيا للقانون الدولي ولقرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة.
كما تشير الى الفتوى القانونية لمحكمة العدل الدولية حول الأونروا وواجبات إسرائيل كسلطة احتلال في تمكين المنظمة من عملها في أرض دولة فلسطين٬ وواجبات المجتمع الدولي للحفاظ على المنظمة الدولية واتخاذ ما يلزم من خطوات عملية لوقف الانتهاكات المتكررة بحقها.

وتدعو الخارجية الدول الأعضاء في الأمم المتحدة، والأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، ومجلس الأمن، وسائر الأطراف الدولية المعنية، إلى اتخاذ موقف دولي حازم وإجراءات عاجلة وفعالة لحماية مركز قلنديا وسائر منشآت الأونروا في القدس الشرقية والأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، وضمان عودة موظفيها وتمكينهم من أداء مهامهم، ومنع سلطات الاحتلال من تحويل هذا الاعتداء إلى أمر واقع دائم.
وتشدد على ان إسرائيل أصبحت دولة مارقة وخارجة عن القانون الدولي وتعمل على رفض قرارات الامم المتحدة٬ وتعمل على تقويض حقوق اللاجئين الفلسطينيين منذ 8 عقود وتمنع عمل منظمة الأونروا باعتبارها احدى منظمات الامم المتحدة٬ فإنها بذلك تكون قد خالفت شروط قبول عضويتها في المنظمة الاممية٬ وعلى المجتمع الدولي مراجعة ذلك.

كما تطالب الوزارة الدول الأعضاء بالاضطلاع بمسؤولياتها القانونية والسياسية في حماية أدوات الأمم المتحدة ووكالاتها، واستخدام جميع الآليات المتاحة داخل منظومة الأمم المتحدة بما فيها فرض عقوبات لضمان احترام الأمم المتحدة وحصانات الأونروا وولايتها، ووقف أي إجراءات تستهدف مصادرة منشآتها أو تعطيل عملها، مؤكدة أن الاكتفاء بالإدانة لم يعد كافيا أمام تكرار الاعتداءات على المؤسسات الأممية ومحاولات فرض الأمر الواقع بالقوة وعلى حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني وعلى رأسها حقه في تقرير المصير والاستقلال والعودة للاجئين.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemns the Israeli occupation authorities’ storming and forced evacuation today of the Qalandia Vocational Training Center, operated by UNRWA in occupied East Jerusalem. The staff present at the center were expelled and prevented from returning. This constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and of the inviolability, privileges, and immunities of United Nations premises and personnel, as well as a dangerous escalation in Israel’s targeting of the United Nations presence in occupied Jerusalem.
The assault is particularly grave as it comes only one day after the Ministry organized a field tour for ambassadors accredited to the State of Palestine at Qalandia Refugee Camp.

The participation of senior Israeli government officials in the storming and forced evacuation, including far-right settler minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, is also strongly condemned. The accompanying measures to tighten Israeli control over the center and its surroundings reflect an official determination to defy the status, privileges, and immunities of the United Nations and to impose facts on the ground by force upon its institutions and facilities.
The targeting of the Qalandia Center is not merely an assault on a building or facility. It strikes at the international mandate of UNRWA and its role in protecting and serving Palestinian refugees. It also represents an attempt to dismantle the mechanisms established by the international community to provide refugees with relief, education, healthcare, and protection.
The assault on UNRWA forms part of Israel’s ongoing genocidal war against the Palestinian people and its sustained campaign to undermine their inalienable rights, foremost among them the right of return and compensation in accordance with United Nations General Assembly Resolution 194.
East Jerusalem is an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territory. As the occupying power, Israel has no sovereignty over the city and no right to alter its legal status, interfere with United Nations facilities located there, or violate their privileges and immunities. The forcible seizure and control of United Nations premises cannot create any legal right or alter the established legal status of the city. On the contrary, it constitutes a further violation of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.

The Ministry recalls the International Court of Justice advisory opinion affirming Israel’s obligations to enable UNRWA to carry out its mandate in the State of Palestine. The international community must take immediate and effective measures to protect the Qalandia Center and all UNRWA facilities, ensure the return of its personnel, and prevent Israel from turning this assault into a permanent fait accompli.
Israel has become a rogue state operating in defiance of international law and openly rejecting United Nations resolutions. For eight decades, it has undermined the rights of Palestinian refugees and obstructed UNRWA’s work. The international community must seriously review the consequences of these grave and persistent violations.
All Member States must fulfill their legal and political responsibilities and use every available UN mechanism, including sanctions, to protect the United Nations, uphold UNRWA’s privileges and immunities, and preserve its mandate. All measures aimed at seizing UNRWA facilities or obstructing its operations must cease immediately.
Mere condemnation is no longer sufficient. Israel’s repeated assaults on UN institutions and attempts to impose facts on the ground by force require concrete international measures to uphold international law and protect the Palestinian people’s fundamental rights, including self-determination, independence, and the right of return.

وتشيد المفوضية بالمسيرة الوطنية والدبلوماسية والثقافية الحافلة للفقيد، الذي كرّس حياته في خدمة القضية الفلسطينية والدفاع عن حقوق شعبنا الوطنية، من خلال مسيرة حافلة بالنضال والعطاء والانتماء والوفاء لفلسطين.

السفيرة فداء عبد الهادي تحث الحكومة الكندية على تفعيل أدوات مساءلة الاحتلال الاسرائيلي وفرض عقوبات رادعة على منظومة الاستيطان

أوتاوا- طالبت سفيرة دولة #فلسطين لدى كندا، فداء عبد الهادي، الحكومة الكندية بفرض مزيد من العقوبات الاقتصادية والقانونية على المستوطنات الإسرائيلية، بما في ذلك حظر استيراد منتجات المستوطنات، ووقف كل مصادر تمويل منظومة الاستيطان والأنشطة المرتبطة بها، في ظل تصاعد اعتداءات المستوطنين في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة. كما دعت إلى إعادة النظر في اتفاقية التجارة الحرة بين كندا واسرائيل، بمناسبة مرور ثلاثين عامًا على توقيعها.

جاء ذلك خلال سلسلة لقاءات عقدتها السفيرة مع عدد من المسؤولين في وزارة الخارجية الكندية خلال الأسبوعين الماضيين، من بينهم الوكيل المساعد لوزيرة الخارجية الكندية، مساعد نائب وزيرة الخارجية لشؤون أوروبا والشرق الأوسط والمنطقة القطبية، والمديرة العامة لدائرة الشرق الأوسط، ورئيس دائرة المراسم.

وخلال اجتماعها مع الوكيل المساعد لوزيرة الخارجية الكندية السيد ديفيد انجل أكدت السفيرة عبد الهادي على ما جاء في رسالة الرئيس محمود عباس لرئيس الوزراء الكندي مارك كارني، والتي طالب فيها #كندا اتخاذ خطوات عملية لوقف إرهاب المستوطنين، والذي يشكل جزءًا أساسياً من سياسة إسرائيلية ممنهجة تهدف إلى تهجير الفلسطينيين والاستيلاء على أراضيهم، وتقويض حقهم في تقرير المصير، وإضعاف فرص تحقيق حل الدولتين. كما طالب الرئيس محمود عباس في رسالته بتنفيذ بنود قرار مجلس الأمن 2334 الذي يعتبر الاستيطان في الأرض المحتلة انتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي وإلزام إسرائيل انهاء احتلالها للأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة.

وفي ذات السياق، سلمت السفيرة عبد الهادي السيد ديفيد انجيل رسالة وزيرة الخارجية والمغتربين د. فارسين أغابكيان شاهين، الموجهة إلى نظيرتها وزيرة الخارجية الكندية، بشأن تصاعد إرهاب المستوطنين في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، والخطوات التي يمكن لكندا اتخاذها، ضد منظومة #الاستيطان، ورموزه ومصادر تمويله.

وثمّنت السفيرة الإجراءات والعقوبات التي اتخذتها الحكومة الكندية بحق عدد من المستوطنين والمسؤولين الإسرائيليين المتورطين في أعمال العنف والإرهاب، داعيةً إلى البناء على هذه الخطوات من خلال تبني إجراءات أكثر شمولًا واتساقًا مع القانون الدول لا سيما الفتوى القانونية لمحكمة العدل الدولية.

كما تطرقت إلى جريمة الاحتلال ومستوطنيه في قرية تل والتي اسفرت عن استشهاد 4 فلسطينيين، والاعتداءات وحرق منازل ومسجدين في صرة وبورين وقصرة، وبيت فوريك وسوسيا وكور في طولكرم، وقبلها الاستيلاء على منازل الفلسطينيين في عدد من البلدات والقرى بمحافظات نابلس وجنين، ورام الله، وبيت لحم، والخليل والتي كان اخرها عائلة الطوباسي في بلدة جالود جنوبي نابلس.

وحذرت عبد الهادي من شرعنة الحكومة الإسرائيلية بناء وتوسيع مزيد من البؤر الاستيطانية، واستمرار جيش الاحتلال الاسرائيلي في سياسة إغلاق الحواجز والطرقات وتحويل الضفة الغربية إلى مناطق عسكرية مغلقة،

الأمر الذي يتسبب في زيادة معاناة الفلسطينيين في فقدان سيدة جنينها داخل مركبة إسعاف عند حاجز عورتا بسبب منع سيارة الإسعاف من المرور ووضع سيدتين فلسطينيتين مولوديهما داخل مركبتين في محافظة نابلس بعد ان منعت قوات الاحتلال وصولهما بشكل عاجل إلى المستشفيات.

كما حذرت من التصعيد الخطير الذي يستهدف تقويض الوضع التاريخي والقانوني القائم في المسجد الأقصى والمقدسات الإسلامية والمسيحية في مدينة القدس، منددةً باقتحام الاف المستوطنين للمسجد الأقصى المبارك، وما رافق ذلك من أداء للطقوس التلمودية ورفع أعلام سلطات الاحتلال، باعتباره انتهاكًا جسيماً للوضع التاريخي والقانوني القائم وقرارات الأمم المتحدة.

وطالبت السفيرة فداء عبد الهادي بوقف العدوان الإسرائيلي المتواصل على قطاع غزة والانسحاب الكامل منه، محذرة من استهداف المدنيين ومحو العائلات الفلسطينية، ورفضت مخططات التهجير القسري والضم وعزل الفلسطينيين في ظروف إنسانية كارثية.

وأكدت ضرورة ضمان وصول المساعدات الإنسانية دون عوائق، معربة عن تقديرها لدعم كندا المستمر للشعب الفلسطيني، ولا سيما التزامها بدعم وكالة الأونروا واللاجئين الفلسطينيين، وشددت على أهمية احترام التدابير المؤقتة الصادرة عن محكمة العدل الدولية لحماية الشعب الفلسطيني وحقوقه.

كما طالبت عبد الهادي الحكومة الكندية بالضغط على الحكومة الإسرائيلية للإفراج عن الأسرى الفلسطينيين الذين تحتجزهم إسرائيل، ووضع حد لسياسات الاعتقال التعسفي والاعتقال الإداري التي تنتهك الحقوق الأساسية للأسرى الفلسطينيين. وأكدت على أهمية الدعوات التي تدعو للإفراج عن الدكتور حسام أبو صفية وغيره من الاسرى الفلسطينيين. ودعت كندا إلى البناء على الإجراءات التي اتخذتها بالفعل، واعتماد نهج أكثر شمولًا واتساقًا مع القانون الدولي وقرارات الأمم المتحدة والآراء الاستشارية لمحكمة العدل الدولية.

وفي ختام اللقاءات، جددت عبد الهادي التأكيد على أن تعزيز المساءلة والتطبيق المتسق للقانون الدولي يمثلان ركيزة أساسية لحماية المدنيين الفلسطينيين، وصون حق الشعب الفلسطيني في تقرير المصير، والحفاظ على فرص تحقيق استقلال دولة فلسطين، وصولًا إلى سلام عادل ودائم.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Condemns Massacre in Tal, Calls for Immediate International Action to End Settler Terrorism

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns in the strongest terms the massacre perpetrated by Israeli settler militias, in partnership with the Israeli occupation forces, against Palestinian civilians in the village of Tal, west of Nablus, on Friday.
The attack resulted in the killing of at least five Palestinians, including brothers, and the injury of several others, some critically, after settlers stormed the village, assaulted residents, and opened live fire. The Ministry also condemns the killing of two Palestinian young men by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, on Thursday, while continuing to withhold their bodies.
This massacre is yet another manifestation of the ongoing Nakba inflicted upon the Palestinian people and exposes the full partnership between the Israeli occupation authorities, their military forces, and settler militias in carrying out systematic crimes against Palestinians. These attacks are an integral part of Israel’s official policy of expanding its colonial settlement enterprise through violence, terror, forced displacement, and ethnic cleansing in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem.
The Ministry stresses that the escalation of settler terrorism is a direct consequence of the protection, political backing, and complete impunity granted by the Israeli government and occupation forces. Official Israeli incitement continues to fuel and encourage these crimes, creating an environment in which settler violence flourishes without accountability.
The Ministry calls on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities and to take immediate, concrete, and effective measures to end Israeli settler terrorism and ensure international protection for the Palestinian people. It urges states to impose sanctions on Israel’s illegal settlement regime and those responsible for it, cut all financial and institutional support for settlement activities, prohibit the import of settlement products, boycott companies and institutions that sustain the settlement enterprise, and activate universal jurisdiction to hold all perpetrators, as well as those who enable and direct these crimes, fully accountable.
