الرئيس يتلقى اتصالا هاتفيا من رئيس الوزراء الكندي، جرى خلاله بحث آخر تطورات الأوضاع في #فلسطين، والقضايا الإقليمية والدولية، وسبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية.

President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, received a phone call from Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, during which they discussed the latest developments in , as well as regional and international matters, and ways to strengthen bilateral relations.

تشرفنا يوم أمس باستقبال وفد من البعثة الأمنية الكندية (بروتيوس) ممثلة بالعميد جيسون جي. لانجيلييه قائد قوة مهام القدس، والقائد السابق للقوة العميد فريدريك برينو والسيد اسامة وزوز المستشار الثقافي لدى البعثة الأمنية- القدس. حيث تم الحديث عن عمل البعثة في فلسطين والشراكة مع مؤسسات قوى الأمن الفلسطينية. وكان في استقبال الوفد محمد يونس القائم بأعمال المفوضية الفلسطينية العامة لدى كندا وسكرتير أول شيرين الفار.

Yesterday, we were honored to receive a delegation from Operation (PROTEUS), represented by Brigadier General Jason G. Langelier, Commander Task Force Jerusalem, Brigadier General Frédéric Pruneau director of Operations at Privy Council Office, former commander Task Force Jerusalem, and Mr. Osama Wazwaz, cultural advisor to Operation PROTEUS. Discussions focused on the work of OP PROTEUs in Palestine and the cooperation with Palestinian security forces.

The delegation was received by Mr. Mohammed Younis, Chargé d'Affaires of the Palestinian General Delegation to Canada, and First Secretary Ms Shireen Far.

In response to the escalation of acts of violence targeting places of worship in Canada, including the recent attacks on Jewish synagogues in Toronto, the Palestinian General Delegation reaffirms the State of Palestine’s firm and principled position rejecting and strongly condemning all acts of racism and attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure, including places of worship, regardless of the perpetrator.

Under international law, including international humanitarian law and international human rights law, religious sites are protected as civilian property and as part of the spiritual and cultural heritage of communities, and must never be subjected to attack, desecration, or destruction.

The Palestinian General Delegation to Canada unequivocally rejects all forms of racism, intolerance, and discrimination, including antisemitism, and reiterates the State of Palestine’s steadfast respect for international law, including the protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure everywhere and at all times, without exception, in Palestine, Canada, and throughout the world.

لاحقا لنشر المسودة الأولى لمشروع الدستور المؤقت لدولة #فلسطين، ولإتاحة المجال أمام ابناء شعبنا في الوطن والشتات لتقديم آرائهم وملاحظاتهم، تدعو المفوضية الفلسطينية العامة لدى كندا أبناء الجالية الفلسطينية في كندا، إلى الاطّلاع على المسودة الأولى لمشروع الدستور المؤقت لدولة فلسطين، وتقديم أي ملاحظات أو مقترحات عبر المنصة الإلكترونية الرسمية لمشروع الدستور والمخصصة لهذه الغاية، وذلك حتى تاريخ 9 نيسان/أبريل 2026.

دولة فلسطين

تعرب وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين لدولة فلسطين عن بالغ حزنها وصادق تعازيها لحكومة وشعب كندا الصديق، في ضحايا حادث إطلاق النار الذي وقع في مدرسة بمقاطعة كولومبيا البريطانية.

وتؤكد الوزارة تضامن دولة فلسطين الكامل مع كندا في هذا الظرف الأليم، معربةً عن تعازيها الحارة لأسر الضحايا، ومتمنيةً الشفاء العاجل للمصابين.

كما تجدد الوزارة رفضها لكافة أشكال العنف التي تستهدف المدنيين، لا سيما في المؤسسات التعليمية، وتشدد على أهمية تعزيز الجهود الدولية لحماية الطلبة وضمان أمنهم وسلامتهم.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine expresses its sincere condolences to the Government and people of Canada following the shooting incident that occurred at a school in the Province of British Columbia.

The Ministry reaffirms the State of Palestine’s full solidarity with Canada during this difficult time, extending its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a swift and full recovery to the injured.

The Ministry reiterates its firm rejection of all forms of violence targeting civilians, particularly in educational institutions, and underscores the importance of strengthening international efforts to ensure the safety and protection of students everywhere.
