The Government of Bangladesh is in the process of formulating a robust Diaspora Policy to advance Bangladesh's national interests, industrial transformation and sustainable development. As part of this initiative, the Government of Bangladesh seeks information on Non-Resident Bangladeshi specialist professionals, including scientists, engineers, academics, industrialists, and their affiliated institutions, to support industry-oriented Research and Development (R&D) projects in Bangladesh under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP), jointly implemented by the Finance Division of the Government of Bangladesh and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

In this regard, under the guidance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bangladesh High Commission in Ottawa is compiling a database of Bangladeshi-origin specialist professionals, including scientists, engineers, academics, industrialists, and their affiliated institutions.

Bangladeshi-origin specialist professionals in Canada are requested to kindly fill up the google form with their information. All information will be used for official purposes only.
