Saturday Morning Group – Summer 2025

We’re looking forward to another great summer of Saturday mornings together. Please note a few important updates:

Sessions will now run as a single 2-hour drop-in from 9:30–11:30 AM, offering more flexibility for families.

We’ll be offering 10 sessions from July 5 to September 6.

Total cost: $450 for the full summer (20 hours).

Activities will continue to be guided by the children’s interests.

As the school year winds down, now is the perfect time to plan a meaningful summer for your teen.

Our Leadership Summer Program is a unique two-week day camp designed for students in grades 9–12 who want to build leadership skills, earn volunteer hours, and gain valuable experience for future jobs or volunteer roles.

Highlights include:

- Hands-on leadership development

- 10 volunteer hours through our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) experience at Sunshine Day Camp

- First Aid Training provided by the City of Ottawa

- Team-building field trips and engaging activities

Program details:

Session 2: July 21–August 1 – $1,050 (Only 3 spots left)

Session 3: August 5–15 – $945 (reduced rate due to Civic Holiday)

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Only 8 participants per session for a high-quality, small-group experience

PALS is back this spring! Starting May 10th at 9:30-10:30am. Geared for ages 5-7 or any early beginners struggling with basic phonics. Our program combines reading and learning with music, art, fun and games! REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN

Our tutors loved working with the little ones online, teaching our PALS class. So excited to see what that energy will look like now that we are in person! PALS is our phonemic awareness program for ages 5-7. We have moved it to Saturday mornings, so the kids will have extra energy! Classes will be at our new learning centre on Merivale Road.
